For students who are interested in living off-campus near Georgia Tech, there are a multitude of student housing options in Atlanta. Midtown especially is full of student apartments opening each year.

At Whistler, we are certain that our various floor plans, state-of-the-art amenities, and prime location will suit all of Georgia Tech students’ needs. However, we understand how important it is to compare your options, so we have written this review of The Connector Atlanta, another off-campus student apartment.

Location

Off of Tech Square in east Midtown, The Connector is about a 6-minute walk from Georgia Tech’s campus on the corner of Spring Street NW and 3rd Street NW. This location is near The Standard and Sweet and fresh.

Student apartments like The Connector offer trendy new amenities to compete with traditional apartments in Midtown.

At The Connector, you can find a fitness center with a yoga studio, a coffee and breakfast bar, an outdoor theater, a golf simulator, a sauna, a rooftop pool, and more.

Parking

If you are a student who wants to bring a car on-campus, The Connector has a secure parking garage for residents only. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at an additional cost each month. At the time of publication, The Connector was no information on The Connector’s website about what they charge for parking.

Pricing and Floor Plans

The Connector offers various floor plans including studio, 1×1, 2×2, 4×4, and 5×5 layouts.

At the time of publication in December 2023, rates for 2024 – 2025 at The Connector range from $1,429 to $2,149 per person, per month, depending on unit type. All rates are subject to change. Due to the tier system used by student housing apartments, most apartments raise rates throughout the lease-up season after a certain number of leases are signed. Each unit comes fully furnished with quartz kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, smart TVs, and more.
