For a student at Georgia Tech, finding the perfect place to live can be a time-consuming and stressful process. From living in an on-campus dorm to hunting for an apartment that checks all of your boxes, the amount of options you have when making a student housing decision in Midtown is overwhelming.

While we’re confident that Whistler’s various floor plans, wide range of luxury amenities, and prime location will accommodate all of your housing needs, we know how difficult it is to compare one property to another. To simplify this process and help you make an informed decision, we have put together an honest review of another off-campus housing option on Spring Street, The Mark.

Review of Off-Campus Apartment Near Georgia Tech: The Mark

The Basics

Before we get into the specifics of what The Mark has to offer, here is some basic information to give you a background on the property:

Year Built: 2020

Location

On the corner of Spring Street and 10th Street, The Mark is about a ten-minute walk from east campus and Tech Square.

The 28-story building is also close to many restaurants, a Publix shopping center, and popular dessert spots such as Insomnia and Tiff’s Treats.

Spring Street is a popular location for other student housing options as well. On this street in between The Mark and Tech Square, you can find University House, Square on Fifth, and our very own Whistler.

The Mark offers its residents several amenities including outdoor courtyard spaces, a rooftop pool deck and hot tub, a fitness center, an arcade and gaming room, both private and community study spaces, and a computer lab.

Parking

For those who plan on using their vehicle to explore Atlanta, parking is available on-site on a first-come, first serve basis and at an additional cost of $125 per month.

Pricing and Floor Plans

The Mark offers a variety of floor plan options from studios to two-story, six-bedroom apartments. Their floorplan options include: 4×4 Penthouse style, 6×6, 5×5, 4×4, 3×3, 2×2, 1×1, and studio.

According to their website at the time of publication, base prices for these units can range from $1,300 per month to $1,600 per month depending on the unit.

Each floor plan comes fully furnished with stainless steel kitchen appliances, living room furniture including a TV, bedroom furniture including a personal desk, and full-sized washer and dryer units.
