This area is near several parking garages and parking decks off Tech Square making it an easy walk from your car, to your tailgate spot, to the stadium. The area is always packed on game day with fans eager to watch the game.
2. West Campus: IC Lawn Area
Distance from stadium: 12-minute walk
If you’re looking for a calm, spacious area to cookout and hangout before the game, the IC lawn is the perfect place for you. This area will always have fans on game day, but in a more spread out and serene setting, making it popular for young families and parents. If you don’t mind the distance from the stadium, this is one of the best spots for Georgia Tech tailgating.
3. Tech Green
Distance from stadium: 6-minute walk
Right in the center of campus, Tech Green is not far from the stadium or parking. On Techwood Drive, you can find some of the most dedicated Georgia Tech fans. In reserved spots with decked out cars and RVs, these fans are ready for game day. From this area, you can see Georgia Tech students, fans, and alumni all making their way to the stadium for the game.
